Born in Serbia and experiencing poverty and uneasy-times, photographer Boogie now calls New York City home thanks to a bit of luck in immigrating to the US. Becoming the focus of this latest The New York Times Lens feature, a series of photographs offer us an in-depth look into Boogie’s eye for capturing the often overlooked aspects of New York culture in his signature black and white style. However 2009 has seen him dabble more and more into color images. Check the feature out here.
